Jason Wee
Executive Director / Architects of Diversity
Jason Wee is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Architects of Diversity Malaysia, a youth-led non-profit that bridges communities and identity groups among youth for justice, peace and a sustainable future. Since 2018, AOD has worked towards the promotion of diversity and inclusion in Malaysia by empowering young leaders as champions of inclusivity, pioneering ideas and processes for social cohesion, and building an enabling environment for legislative change towards equity and inclusion. AOD has partnered with various local and international organisations, including the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, to design and execute opportunities for intergroup contact. Jason has led various programmes and research projects on racial and religious misunderstanding, prejudice and conflict, focusing on strengthening structures and systems to mend Malaysia’s growing divide.Jason is the first Malaysian recipient of the Echoing Green Fellowship and has been featured in Tatler Gen.T Asia, Prestige 40 Under 40 and Wiki Impact 100. He is a graduate of the School of Public and International Affairs with a focus in Race, Ethnicity and Discrimination at Princeton University.
